A flower.....blossoms
What a vision of beauty,
that one clearly sees.
A symbol of love.
as so many will see you....
will die.....over time.
A River......that flows
How tranquil and pure you are,
like heaven itself
And yet so fragile.
its form....merely a layer,
Easily tainted.
A Tree......unyielding
offspring of nature and time,
So strong, so steady...
And therefore constant.
merely a rock in the pond.
Inescapable.........
A Cloud....so unbound
Free from such trivial things,
how I envy thee.
Although your freedom.....
is your prison; binding you,
In the skies above.
Many things, there are..
of what is this....or what
Robin Hood on one occasion being hunting with his men and finding the sport to be poor, said:
"We have had no sport now for some time. So I go abroad alone. And if I should fall into any peril whence I cannot escape, I will blow my horn that ye may know of it and bear me aid." And with that he bade them adieu and departed alone, having with him his bow and the arrows in his quiver.
Passing shortly over a brook by a long bridge he met at the middle a stranger.
And neither of the two would give way to the other. And Robin Hood being angry fitted an arrow to his bow and made ready to fire.
"Truly," said the stranger at this, "thou art a fin
Where is this place
that I so desire
a place I call home
a place I admire
What is this place
can it really be real
or is it a dream
so very surreal
Why is this place
so good to be true
because when the time it goes
then I guess, I should too
When is this place
going to leave my mind
for no matter where I look
It is there I will find
and How is this place
so different from me
for when I seek to go
I seek to be free
But, for what its worth
this poem should be
it can only imagine
what I can see
This place, This place
where I long to be
Noone can live here
Not you, Not me!
The light never wavers
For those who seek it
The power is hidden
Forever in the eyes
So to the darkness
That watches the blind
Lying in wait
The light overshadows
"Peace causes war;
War destroys peace;
Power negates power"
this itself is true...
Of the one who is just
Only to find
The courage and strength
To face what is more
Than what before it
For darkness falls
And light sleeps
But never in the heart
For the one who seeks it
Kore wa Aishite no Chikara...
Boku mo Jibun Jishin no Chikara
Do you believe in power?
or do you believe in yourself?
Some they will talk of bold Robin Hood,
in many a story told;
But this is a tale, of a Noble from Barnsdale
and how he robbed him of his gold.
As it befell in merry Sherwood,
All under the greenwood tree,
A hoarder of wealth was to come by,
With all his company.
"What a sight to see!" said bold Robin Hood,
"An escort by the highway side!,
let's give them a greeting, while the time is right
Lest some other way it should ride."
The carriage was headed to Yorkshire
with masses of gold, it would seem;
most likely, from robbing more wealth from the poor
His eye now catches a gleam.
He leapt from the trees all clad in green
Now Robin Hood had instituted a day of mirth for himself and all his companions,
and wagers were laid amongst them who should exceed at this exercise and who at that.
Some did contend who should jump farthest, some who should throw the bar,
some who should be swiftest afoot in a race five miles in length;
others there were with which Little John was most delighted,
who did strive which of them should draw the strongest bow, and be the best marksman.
"Let me see," said Little John,
"which of you can kill a buck, and who can kill a doe, and who is he can kill a hart,
being distant from it by the space of five hundred feet."
